Water Ponding Fast-Setting Self-Leveling Mortar
FERROCRETE 217 is a fast-setting, self-leveling mortar that solves all your waterproofing and leveling problems for roofs and balconies in one step. This rapid-setting mortar is designed for outdoor use on slightly rough surfaces, including sports courts, with a thickness of 3-8 mm.
It's used to prepare a smooth, level base before applying a waterproofing membrane, eliminating puddles and reducing the risk of water leakage. It gives the surface a smooth, like-new finish. Made with fast-setting cement, graded silica sand, and adhesion-enhancing agents, it has excellent flow properties, is easy to mix and pour, and sets in as little as 6 hours.
It improves the bond between the existing surface and the waterproofing material, is highly flexible, and offers long-term durability against heavy use and weather conditions. FERROCRETE 217 is fully compatible with acrylic, polyurethane, polyurea, or bitumen, PVC, and EPDM waterproofing membranes.

ปาดเหลว ปาดผิวหน้าคอนกรีตด้วย เฟอร์โรกรีต 217 1 ถุง 25 กก. ผสม นํ้าประปา 20-24% (5-6 ลิตร) ปั่นด้วยสว่านรอบตํ่า 400-600 รอบ/นาที นาน 1 นาที ให้เป็นเนื้อเดียวกัน เมื่อผสมแล้วให้รีบนําไปใช้งานทันที
ควรปาดบางตั้งแต่ 3-8 มม. ด้วย คราดปรับระดับ (รหัสสินค้าเฟอร์โร : FG-14OE-8858915211170) ทิ้งแห้งหมาดควรใช้ให้หมดภายใน 10 นาที และไม่ควรผสมน้ำเพิ่มอีก
การเตรียมผิวพื้นคอนกรีตเก่า
กรณีที่ 1 : ผิวพื้นคอนกรีตเก่าเป็นน้ำปูนที่แห้งไม่แข็งแรง ไม่เหมาะกับการยึดเกาะทับผิว (Laitance) หรือเป็นผิวมันท็อปปิ้ง (Loose mortar topping) ที่พร้อมจะหลุดร่อน
วิธีประเมินผิว
ใช้วิธีกรีดด้วยมีด (Knife test) ถ้าเป็นฝุ่นง่าย มีรอยลึกจากการกรีดได้ถึง 2 มม. หรือแซะด้วยมีดออกเป็นฝุ่นง่าย แสดงว่าเป็นชั้นน้ำปูนอ่อนแอ ไม่เหมาะกับการเท เฟอร์โรกรีต 217 ทับหน้า
การเตรียมผิว
ผิวที่อ่อนแอจะต้องถูกกัดออกด้วยเครื่องกัดผิว (Concrete scarier) จนถึงชั้นที่
แข็งแรงทั้งน ี้ เครื่อง Scarifier จะทำให้ผิวหยาบ (Rough profile) เหมาะกับการยึดเกาะ, ส่วน
กรณีท็อปปิ้งหลุดร่อนจากผิวคอนกรีต ต้องสกัดและเทท็อปปิ้งใหม่ ปกติควรมีค่ารับน้ำหนักไม่
น้อยกว่า 210 กก/ตร.ซม. ที่ 28 วัน ดูดฝุ่นและเช็ดด้วยผ้าม็อบหมาด
หลีกเลี่ยง
การฉีดบ่มน้ำปริมาณมากๆ ลงบนผิวที่เตรียมไว้แล้วเนื่องจาก เฟอร์โรกรีต 217 มีสารเคมีป้องกันการถูกแย่งน้ำและน้ ำที่บ่มจะไม่มีทางระบายออก จึงอาจดันแผ่นผิวของ เฟอร์โรกรีต 217 ให้บวมเป็นจุดๆ ได้ เพราะเซ็ทตัวเร็วมากกว่าการระบายความชื้นของปูนปกติ จึงต้องเตรียมผิวเหมือนกับงานพื้นอีพ็อกซี่โรงงานอุตสาหกรรม (Epoxy industrial floor) การทำให้ผิวชื้น (Moistening) สลัดน้ำด้วยแปรงขนดำให้ชุ่มพอประมาณก่อนเริ่มงาน 10-15 นาที เพื่อลดอุณหภูมิผิวคอนกรีตและลดการแย่งน้ำ ไม่ควรฉีดบ่มน้ำมากเกินไป
กรณีที่ 2 : ผิวพื้นเก่าเคลือบสารที่เป็นอุปสรรคต่อการยึดเกาะทั้งที่มองเห็นได้ง่ายและที่สังเกตได้ยาก เช่น น้ำยาบ่ม, น้ำมัน, สารกันน้ำและอีพ็อกซี่
วิธีประเมินผิว
ใช้วิธีหยดด้วยน้ำ (Drop test) หากทดลองหยดน้ำบนผิวแล้วหยดน้ำกลมเหมือนน้ำบนใบบัว ดูดซึมช้า ภายใน 10 วินาที ยังไม่ซึมหมด แสดงให้เห็นว่า น่าจะมีสารเคลือบผิวอยู่
การเตรียมผิว
ใช้เครื่องขัดผิว (Floor grinding) เป็นใบลูกถ้วยเพชร หมุนขัดบนผิวเพื่อลอก สารเคลือบผิวออก หรือใช้เครื่องยิงเม็ดเหล็ก (Shot blast) เพื่อกัดผิวหน้าออกประมาณ 1 มม. ให้ผิวหยาบสะอาด ทั้งนี้ควรทดสอบหยดน้ำอ ีกครั้งหลังเตรียมผิวและทดลองเท เฟอร์โรกรีต 217 ทดสอบ 1-2 ตร.ม. ก่อนเทแผงใหญ่
